Masterminds is a page-turner, that will you guessing till the end. Once you start reading it, you CAN'T PUT IT DOWN!!!!!! This book is written in the perspective of several different main characters--- similar to the way 'The heroes of Olympus'

Masterminds is a great book. It is about a group of kids that are trying to get into a building because they felt as something was going on that they didn't know about. They tried many ways to get into to the building and if you want to know the rest you can read the book. I think that this book deserves a Newbery award because it is very interesting and it makes me want to read more and more and more. I think that the book Masterminds has a really good plot it makes you keep guessing and guessing and it gives you clues also. I hope that the book will have a sequel because the ending of the book made me want more. -Bella L

The Poe Estate by Polly Shullman. Review by Shriya
I believe this story has a chance at a NewBery Medal or maybe a runner up the theme was amazing! The story really had to make you think about what was gonna happen next, there was lots of character change and the climax was huge you could tell when you were getting near the climax and the rising action and the falling action. The story had a great plot and the story gets even more interesting when the main character Lizzy had a problem that comes up! Does Lizzy solve it or not and then right as she's trying solve that problem another bigger problem comes and this time life's could be changed!
